Stephanie M. Weaver
Attorney at Law
Since bios are an introduction to the person you are considering engaging, here is my background and the talents I bring to your case or transaction. I have practiced law for over 34 years in the areas of Family, Commercial and Residential Real Estate, Real Estate Litigation, Contract & Business Law, and Estate Planning. I have a busy life, and bring my outside interests and passions with me to the practice of law.
I started in a practice with about eight lawyers. That time was the legal equivalent of a baptism by immersion! I was delegated all kinds of cases in all areas of law, notably civil litigation, criminal, family, zoning and real estate transactions. After a few years I left with a partner to start a law firm together in the real estate field, but transitioned quickly to a firm when I added family law to the equation. I formed my own practice in 1992.
I am a general practitioner, but practice chiefly in the areas I have listed on this website. I focus on being the best advisor I can be to the people, projects and cases that I take. The aim of my work life is to be a great facilitator. Cases, transactions and problems are varied, and I want to be a counselor that identifies the issues and goals, creates a plan and concludes it with you successfully. I believe that helping people solve differences outside of the court process is often the best solution, and so my practice has evolved to inlu mediation cases. In the best results, our working relationship is something that brings a smile to your face, and we continue to work on issues that arise in your life as the years roll on. My staff and outside consultants are smart, creative, and work to problem-solve. If this bio of me appeals to you, you will like them!
My interests outside of the practice include cultivating a great circle of friends. I love physical activity, I read and travel, and I have grown to embrace remote working where it makes sense. I have a beloved husband that appreciates and allows me my joys. I hope to write about things that interest me as life goes on. Even sited in the indoor world of the practice of law, I love outdoor life, and believe that I am both a steward of this wonderful world and a shepherd over my particular little kingdom. That kingdom currently includes French bulldogs named Earnest and Sereno.
I want to be a counselor that identifies the issues and goals, creates a plan, and concludes it with you successfully.
